Adv. Vittalrao Banpurkar Arts and Commerce College is the leading institution of Higher Education in the tribal and most backward area of Malewada, which is a most backward, tribal area of Gadchiroli District.
This area is affected by the Naxalites. The organization realized the need to provide higher education to the tribal pupils of the area.
The college is affiliated to Gondwana University, Gadchiroli and was established by Sanjiwani Adiwasi jati va Magaswargiya Education Society Kharmattola in the year 2009 to fill the gap and serve the educational interest of the people of the Malewada area.
The college is situated in a beautiful natural background of lush, green vegetation and paddy fields.
The college is presently housed in a well equipped new buildings.
